Mr. Charles De la Rosa graduated from the Salesian Technical Institute (ITESA), Universidad Tecnológica de Santo Domingo (INTEC) and the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico (UPPR) as a Technical Electrician for Industrial Electricity, an Electrical Engineer and a Master’s in Management Engineering, respectively.
Mr. De la Rosa has more than 14 years of experience in the electrical sector; He began and exerted during these years in the energy industry, providing his services and professional career in the companies of distribution, generation and commercialization in the electrical sector of Dominican Republic: EDESUR, AES, EGE Haina; Since 2006, He started with the Punta Cana Macao Energy Consortium working on the construction and operation of the first commercial wind energy project in Dominican Republic (Quilvio Cabrera Wind Project) and later with Basic Energy – EGE Haina in the construction of Los Cocos wind farm.
Since 2013, its participation in the development of the wind project in Panama has been transferred from the subsidiary of InterEnergy CEPM to UEP Penonomé II, a project that represented an investment of more than US $ 436 million in the electric sector of Panama; Performing at the beginning of construction and installation of the wind farm as Project Manager in Construction and currently Operations & Maintenance Manager.
