Founded in 2011 by private equity fund InterEnergy Partners LP, InterEnergy Holdings owns and operates power generation plants, as well as fuel distribution and logistics businesses in Latin America and the Caribbean.

On April 24, 2014, InterEnergy invested through its subsidiary, UEP Penonomé II, S.A. (UEPII), in the development and construction of the Laudato Si Wind Farm in Penonomé, Panama.

InterEnergy also owns 55% of the Pedregal Generation Plant, acquired in August 2015. This thermal power plant, built in 2003, consists of 3 generators installed with a total capacity of 55 MW based on Bunker C.

Although our roots are in the energy generation business, our portfolio includes significant investments in transmission and distribution of energy.

InterEnergy has operations in the Dominican Republic, Panama, Jamaica and Chile.

Our goal is to become an industry leader in the Latin American and Caribbean region by continuing to acquire and invest in businesses throughout the region, bringing clean, profitable and efficient energy to our markets.
