¿Why Panama?

Panama is a country with political stability and a solid economic platform. It has legislative and infrastructural systems that favor the implementation of clean energy projects and promote economic and inclusive development.

For the location of the Project, the Penonomé area was chosen because of the wind potential of the area, which allowed the project to be developed without major effects on natural areas such as the environment, ecosystem and forest, with good performance in its operational phase, Proximity of the site to the Inter-American highway and to the existing network of the Panama Transmission Trunk System, which facilitated the transportation logistics of the wind turbines and the interconnection of the wind farm to the National Interconnected System.
