Magister Harold Hernández, UEP Penonomé II, SA Commercial Manager, a subsidiary company of InterEnergy Holdings, leads the commercial management of 215MW installed in the Laudato Si’ Wind Farm, which involved an investment of more than US $ 436 million in the Panama sector.
Mr. Hernández has more than 8 years of experience in the electrical sector, he began his professional career in the sector of Elektra Noreste SA. As Controller of the Electric Network, continued in the Electric Transmission Company, S.A. (ETESA) in different positions as technical planning manager and Planning Engineer, planning the explosion of the National Interconnected System with investment projects of more than US $ 285 million. As part of his regional contributions, he was a representative of Panama and a member of the Technical Committee on Planning for the Expansion of Transmission (CTPET) of the Regional Operator (EOR) and Representative of Panama and a member of the Transmission Reinforcement Working Group ) Of the Central American Electrification Council (ECAC).
Magister Hernández graduated from the Technological University of Panama (UTP) as an electromechanical engineer. He has two Master’s and Postgraduate Programs: in Renewable Energies and Environment in the UTP and in Business Administration with Business Emphasis of the Latin University of Panama, His studies are complemented with a Diploma in Solar Photovoltaic Energy at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and a Diploma in Electrical Markets in the UTP.
